BEHIND THE LENS

Hey my name is Marquise. I was Born in The Bronx New York. I now reside in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am married with 2 beautiful kids.

I first got into photography when I was in High School. Everywhere I went my camera was right beside me. Photography was another way for me to tell my story. They say a picture says 1000s word so I let my art speak for itself.

It wasn't until 2012 when I came up with my brand name Royal G. I started out doing photoshoots for friends and family and videos for local artists. In 2016 I started to invest more into building my brand. I took an online course at The New York Institute of Photography. My main goal was to get into Wedding Photography.

Also in 2016, I was able to get my first official photography studio Downtown Raleigh.

In 2019 I decided to go back to school at Living Arts College to learn more on film and photography. The school has helped me connect with T.V hosts and new stations.
